Today we are going to review the Jupiter Melody water
ionizer.
The Melody has been around for years and is a very
efficient and reliable water ionizer. It is also compact and easy to move and transport.
Features of the
Melody
The Melody has a little port on the top of the ionizer that
has a place for you to add additional minerals to your water. You can add
little balls that will add extra magnesium or calcium to your water, if so
desired. You can also add scale guard to this port. These are small crystals that
fit in the basket that aid in keeping calcium from building up on the plates of
the water ionizer.
Another feature of the Melody ionizer is the ease with which
you can change the filter in the back. The plate in the back easily comes off
and the filter comes out very easily, making changing the filter hassle-free. Other
water ionizers are more complicated when it comes to changing the filter. Then
to reset the filter, there is a small button you press and hold down. It will
ding when it has been reset.
There are 4 levels on the Melody ionizer. At level 3 the pH
of the alkaline water is about 10. The ORP reading for level 4 is roughly -700,
which is very good.
The acidic water has a pH of about 2.8 at level 3. You can use this for cleaning and other uses I’ve talked about here.
The Jupiter Melody has continuous cleaning built in. It
continually cleans the plates so that you don’t lose ORP in your drinking
water.
Another nice feature of the Melody is that each time you
turn it on it will remember the settings you used last. So, if you had the
music playing last time and you had it set at a level 3, when you turn it on
next, it will automatically use these settings. This will save the hassle of
having to select the settings you wish to use each time.
